[Cet article sera traduit en français....un jour ]Oooops...one month without any update, I think it's my "record" this year... It's not that I don't
have anything to upload on the contrary but I was busy at work with UltraSuperNew building stuff for
Red Bull Japan and I started to train for the Tokyo Marathon next February and I also started a
personal side project : an app/service for cyclists [I can't say too much now cause I am still
in the early stage of development and I might change... Lire la suite

VISITE DE VÉLOCISTE À TOKYO : DREAMWORKS CYCLES
[Cet article sera traduit en français....un jour ]I visited the shop few weeks ago, I used to work really close to it but not any more so it has been
a while since my last visit. I thought you might
like to see what there is in this incredible shop. There's always some awesome things to see and
buy, especially if you are into NJS stuff. I was looking for
Italian frames on a reader request, there was 2 of them, beautiful and BIG prices :-) Obviously it's
cheaper in Europe.Brake Lever, in-house

RED BULL : COURSE DE MESSENGER À YOKOHAMA
[Cet article sera traduit en français....un jour ]Here is a selection of about 50 photos (from 600...) I took last week-end at the Red Bull Geared-Up,
an alley cat designed for messengers only where they were judged not only on their speed but also on
their behavior towards clients, a kind of a role playing game that was quite fun, each messenger had
to
find something to attract the judges attention. Sino San

took place around the Symbol Tower in the port of Yokohama,... Lire la suite

First, your blog is wonderful. Really- it is! You provide great info about many things that would otherwise go unnoticed. Thank you!
I am devastated to read about the Sekido Bashi Flea Market two days too late. I've been trying to find this type of event ever since I got here in September.
I'm dying to get on the road, but as I am a poor research student living in Tokyo, I have limited funds. So, I was wondering- do you have any advice on how I can procure a used bicycle? Ideally, I would love to join the single-speed/fixie craze, but understand that as it's in full boom I probably won't find any steals. Maybe a used high quality road bike would work? Fuji, Miyata or Nishiki?
Thank you for your time.

You have also the option to buy a second hand fuji for example, I guess it's possible to find some at less than 40000 yen (full mounted bike this time ). But if your budget is about 15000/20000 yen...it will be tuffer.
Moreover one paramater is important : your height... for example I am 182 cm tall and use 56cm frames... Pist bike with that size are less numerous and then more expensive (often) :/
