YOKOHAMA BY NIGHT

I planned this for a long time and finally did it. A photo-bike-walk in the night of Yokohama. It turns out I took a lot of photos. The goal was to go from Minato-mirai to Chinatown. These pics were all taken in full manual mode without any tripod. When I found something I can put the camera on I use it, else this is just the "take-a-big-breath-and-try-to-not-move" technique, which i... Read more

KEIRIN IN YOKOHAMA

Last Saturday, for the first time I saw some "live" Keirin ( = Cycling Race). I remember I went one time to the velodrome of Le Havre when I was a kid but it was nothing like this place. YOKOHAMA PHOTOS

I've just set-up a new album in my photo gallery. Simply entitled "Yokohama"... Living in this city, I think it's the least I can do. This gallery should be regularly updated. Especially with photos taken with my Canonet GIII QL17. For the opening of this gallery, here are some snapshots taken around the train station. First is my favorite Taiyaki "provider". They have a nice choice of filling... Read more

JOGGING IN YOKOHAMA

Despite of the cold, winter is a good season for training, it's much more comfortable than summer with its heat combined with humidity. So this time I propose you, not a photo-walk but a photo-jog! Mizuno my favorite running shoes lately. 100m from home, the little white part in the back is the Fuji San, only visible during winter from this point. Even if Yokohama is a hug... Read more
