FIXED GEAR ON TWITTER!
Today I setted up a new account on Twitter with the user name PignonFixe. "Pignon Fixe" stands for "Fixed Gear" in French. So, what is it about ? This twitter account is automatically feeded by blogs RSS feeds. FIXED GEAR VIDEOS
I played a little bit with the YouTube API today, using the classes provided by Zend Framework. The result is a Fixed Gear Videos Gallery. It is quite basic for now, it just retrieves the latest fixed gear videos published on YouTube. Plus, I made 3 categories : videos from Japan, France and the Anglophone world. FIXIE IN SHIBUYA
Working now in Shibuya I can see everyday some dudes riding fixies (and some single speed also). During one of my lunch time I discovered a shop 3 mn from my office in a small street : Triple rock Bicycles : Specialized in BMX and has some fixed gear stuff, they are selling right now the latest SE models. TOKYO HANDMADE BICYCLE FAIR
Yesterday I went to the Tokyo Handmade Bicycle Fair. I thought of a quite big event but it's actually a rather small organization. It took place at the Museum of Science just next to the Emperor Palace. It is not the kind of event like the CYCLE MODE International for example, but more a "family" event.
