YOKOHAMA PHOTOS

I've just set-up a new album in my photo gallery. Simply entitled "Yokohama"... Living in this city, I think it's the least I can do. This gallery should be regularly updated. Especially with photos taken with my Canonet GIII QL17. For the opening of this gallery, here are some snapshots taken around the train station. First is my favorite Taiyaki "provider". They have a nice choice of fillings like custard (Osusume desu!), chocolate, or cheese and of course the usual red bean paste. Oishiiï... Read more

WEDDING IN JAPAN - EPISODE 1

Tuesday morning I sent a special tweet, with a "subliminal" message in it: So much subliminal that almost no one noticed it... ah! Tuesday was a beautiful morning and Sayoko and I got married! So Monday was our last day in the office of the year but also our first day in the new office. So let's go for a visit! The office is in a brand new building at the fifth floor. We have a quite special entrance for visitors. Once you open the door you are in a dark room that makes you feel you're coming into a cinema theater. The name of the company is projected on the wall... Read more

IKEBUKURO, TOKYO

For the last 2 years, I've been working in Ikebukuro near Kita Guchi (North Entrance) but it's going to change next week as our office will move to Shibuya Ku near Shinsen station. So I think it's time for a photo walk through the streets of North and West Ikebukuro Station before to say good-bye. Getting out of the train in the morning I cross the station to reach the north exit. Usually still half sleeping, the chocolate (surely fake) aroma coming from Stella's kitchen starts to awake me...
